  Years ago, I was the one with the letters coming in from the IRS. Owing over $10,000 in back taxes, I was faced with the stress, the anxiety, of wondering what would happen next. My property, including my house, had a lien placed on it. How was I going to get out of this mess. By God’s grace, I did get out, entering into an installment agreement. Because I’ve been there, I understand what others are going through. I know what it’s like to stay awake at night and the stress it causes for the wife and family. Now, I truly can empathize and have joy in helping others who are facing tax problems. It is my passion in life to help.

 Having a degree in accounting, becoming a CPA in Louisiana and then in Arizona, and passing a 12 hour tax test to become an Enrolled Agent was good, but it’s not the best education I had. The best was through my experiences, meeting Eric Green, at a National Association of Tax Professionals conference in Las Vegas and joining the Tax Rep Network has been the best education in this field—bar none. I have audited companies across the nation, served as an expert financial witness in court, provided actuarial and CPA services as a consultant for Huff, Thomas & Company, served as a “Master Tax Analyst” for H&R Block, and served the State of Arizona, on a contract basis, as a Senior Financial Analyst, but again—my best education? It has been with the Tax Rep Network, which led me to becoming certified in tax resolution from the University of Connecticut in 2020. 

 My contacts are invaluable to me and benefit my clients immeasurably. This includes both being a member of the Tax Rep Network, where I have almost immediate access to a group of about 15 EAs and CPAS, who I believe are the best in the country  in this area of work, as well as contacts through both the National Association of Enrolled Agents and the Arizona Society of Enrolled Agents. My individual contacts with the members of this group make us stronger together.
